Episode 9 - December

This episode starts with the faries playing a game with Kururu dressed up as santa and the rest as raindeers. However they are getting a little bored of plyaing this as it is nearly new year. On speaking to Tama-chan she is surprised by the faries failure to do any preperation for the coming of the new year. When queried as to what would happen if they failed to be ready in time she says that that the new year will never come. Tama-chan gives them a list of important things that must be done before the new year.

The first task is house cleaning and the faries work hard at cleaning there dolls house from top to bottom. Its not long before they are playing at a little drama where Chiriri is being told off for her poor cleaning by her evil mother Kururu. Hororo plays a family lawyer comforting her from the scolding with Sarara playing the father of the household.

Back onto there second task the bottle faries have to prepare various cooking tasks for the new year, again following a list made by Tama-chan. Still afarid that the new year might not come they work hard at it before getting back to the next part of there drama. Chiriri has left the house of her evil mother and now works on the rice field of the family lawyer Hororo. Before long all the charecters meet for a confrontation with Kururu warning them of the consequences of the tarnishing there family name. However father Sarara-san intervenes and stops evil Kururus bullying of Chiriri and they all go home happy leaving Hororo.

For there final task they sit under the a heated table and watch new years television waiting for the new year to come. Sensei-san explains that they are having a red and white song battle. Hearing the word batttle Sarara imagines this in a tradiational cool samurai style singing battle. Finally Tama-chan does a countdown of the last 10 seconds to the new year stopping at one since this is an episode about December.
